Job Title: Technology Support

Reports To: Operations Director

Position Status:    Full Time

Exempt Status:   Non-Exempt

Working Environment:   75  Indoors (%)      25  Outdoors (%)

Position Summary:

The Technology Support position is responsible to manage physical infrastructure and system maintenance of all types of technology, local area networks internet communications, Office & site phones (desk, house, cell) and connections, office equipment, Office and home TV, cable, internet, modems, computers, projectors, camera, video equipment and software systems and programs. Installs and configures operating and ancillary software as needed.

Education/Experience Requirements: 

Associate's degree (AA) in Computer Science or Computer Systems or Business Administration or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred; and one year to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Essential Duties:

All duties to be performed according to the established standard and in compliance with all company policies and procedures while maintaining regular, prompt attendance:

  • Manage physical infrastructure and system maintenance of all software/hardware, phones, copiers, operating systems, fax equipment, computers, TV’s, office technology/equipment etc.

  • Ensure effective office operations of all office technology in the office and at sites through system management, media and technology set up, employee training, and troubleshooting of software, hardware, operating systems, phone systems, copiers, and fax equipment.

  • Assist with the Management of file server layout to ensure efficient access to all files.

  • Assist with maintaining employee security access, issuing security badges to employees, and managing accessibility to the office building. Assists with conducting orientation and training on software system, equipment and use. 

  • Provide assistance with managing the infrastructure of marketing related sites, such as: Opportunity Matters website, Facebook, etc.

  • Assists with video, audio and photos, both taking the product, editing and uploading to a useable product with video, audio and photo software.

  • Assists with mass texting, emails, other communication through technology. 

  • Assists with surveys, data collection and graphs, uploading and putting together trainings in various platforms

  • Backup coverage for Administrative Support position as needed.

Other Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

  • Provide administrative support for word processing documents and training/event set up and preparations.

  • Various technology, operating system duties as requested.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Actively participate and contribute in at least one Organizational committee.

  • Participate in Organizational events and activities.

  • Professionally represent the Organization and department or site to current employees, volunteers, vendors and community.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

  • Observe all company policies, rules, and safety practices.
